Holle Abee

I retired early from teaching British Literature, American Literature, writing skills, and creative writing. I've served as coordinator for several writing fairs and have judged numerous writing and speech contests at the local, state, and regional levels. Currently, I'm a successful freelance writer. My areas of interest/expertise include animals, education, writing skills, cooking, beauty pageants, fishing, parenting, health issues, the elderly, travel, editing, and arts and crafts. My husband does building, repairs, and maintenance, and he helps me with those subjects.

I was Helium's most-selected writer by publishers for 2008 and am a regular contributor for Horseman Magazine. I was also selected as the Best New Hubber for 2009 here on Hubpages. I appeared in the March 2012 issue of Kiplinger's magazine, and one of my hubs was performed on stage in New York City.

I write articles for hubbers, bloggers, magazines, and webpages. Contact me if you're interested!
