What Does World Market Offer?
World Market is the perfect store to go to if you're looking for a unique, multicultural, and diverse collection of specialty goods. From food and drink to gifts, home décor, furniture, clothes, and party favors, this store has something for everyone. They offer premium quality products and the best craftsmanship from all over the world. If you're looking for something unique and authentic, this shop might be the place to go.
Note: For holiday deals and discounts, you can check out their website.
1. Biscuits, Candies, and Chocolates
This happens to be one of my favorite aisles in the store. Since I have a sweet tooth, I love the selection I found here. They had various types of biscuits, candies, and chocolates imported from different countries such as the United Kingdom (UK), Italy, Australia, Sweden, Germany, and Spain. My favorite from this section is the Digestive Dark Chocolate Biscuits. By the way, the selection for candy and chocolate is one of the best I've seen in the store. They've got unique gourmet chocolate, candy, and licorice from all over the world. Perfect for chocolate lovers.
2. Jams and Spreads
As you can see from the photo, the store carries various fruit spreads including jam and marmalade, honey, maple syrup, peanut butter, and cream. By the way, if you are feeling adventurous, you can try Vegemite or Marmite. Vegemite is a popular savory spread that has been a fixture on Australian tables at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. On the other hand, Marmite is another popular savory spread originally from the United Kingdom.
3. Bread and Cakes
When I saw this shelf, I felt like I had traveled to Italy. Why? Panettone is an Italian sweet bread originally from Milan, usually prepared and enjoyed for Christmas. It is a perfect way to celebrate a traditional holiday celebration with this decadent Italian panettone bread. The bread is made with natural yeast and studded with sweet candied fruit and raisins. I remember having it for the first time when I was a student in Italy. The Italian lady that I lived with gave me a sample to taste, and I just loved it!
4. Baking Products
World Market offers some delightful baking products, such as cookie and cake mixes, chocolate chips, and more. Baking is my passion, so I really enjoyed shopping in this aisle. There are various baking products you can choose from, including churros (from Spain), scones (from the UK), beignets (from France), bee sting cake mix (from Germany), and much more. As for me, I didn't leave empty-handed from this aisle; I picked up three bags of chocolate chips!
5. Coffee, Tea, Drink Syrups, and Other Beverages
If you're a tea drinker, this is the place! World Market carries a great selection of the highest quality organic teas from the world's best tea-growing regions. My husband and I are coffee lovers. We love drinking coffee in the morning, and iced coffee is one of our favorites in the afternoon. Although we didn't get any coffee beans from here, we loved the ambiance.
6. Spices and Seasonings
If you don't have a sweet tooth, don't worry. Perhaps you prefer savory flavors. World Market stocks a great assortment of seasonings and spices. If you (or your loved ones) enjoy cooking decadent Italian, French, Indian, or Asian recipes, this is the perfect aisle for you. I checked the food labels, and I learned that their exotic spices are sourced from the finest regions in the world. These spices and seasonings can make the perfect gift to someone who loves cooking.
7. Furniture and House Décor
For those who want to give their home a warm and cozy holiday vibe, World Market has a well-made furniture collection ranging from traditional to contemporary/modern looks. From my observation, the price is affordable, and my husband has his eye on one of their leather chairs. Perhaps I should get it for a Christmas present? By the way, you can add a unique look in your house with the accessories such as lamps, pillows, plants, flowers, curtains, wall art and more.
8. Christmas Ornaments, Holiday Crafts, and Gifts
With the holidays just around the corner, World Market is offering many festive products such as ornaments, holiday crafts, and gifts. For example, they have beautifully dainty Christmas ornaments to decorate your tree. Whether you're looking for a moderate celebration this year, World Market has unique ornaments to trim your tree—and make your holiday more meaningful. Apart from Christmas ornaments, the store also offers a great selection of holiday gifts. There is always something for everyone.
9. Kitchen Tools and Dinnerware
The kitchen is my favorite room in my house—I could spend hours there preparing meals or baking breads and cakes. Not surprisingly then, World Market's kitchen aisle was another favorite spot for me. From dinnerware sets, serving ware, bakeware, kitchen towels, aprons, kitchen tools, and more, the collection is very unique, elegant, and stylish.
My Purchases
I didn't leave the store empty-handed. I picked up a few things, including biscuits, candy, and baking supplies such as custard powder and chocolate chips. Just before leaving the store, I picked up two packages of South Korean face masks that I am excited to try out. Overall, our trip to World Market was excellent. I'm sure I'll come back to the store sometime soon!

You're welcome, Edwin. Your chocolate selection sounds very interesting. I have never pay attention to them because my husband and I are not liquor drinkers. However, we do have friends and family that fond of that! So thanks for letting me know and have a great day!

We have one of these stores too, but it’s been awhile since I’ve been there. Since travel abroad is completely cut off it might be time to visit the store again. I like the food and dishware.
