My Coffee Story

As a coffee connoisseur, I love trying new coffee drinks. Before I built up my own coffee bar at home (see photo below), I was a regular customer at coffee shops such as Starbucks. Coffee plays a major part in my life, and luckily for me, my husband feels the same way! A few weeks ago, while I was browsing online, I saw a viral video about a drink called Dalgona coffee. Guess what? I'm now obsessed.

What Is Dalgona Coffee?

Dalgona coffee is the latest coffee trend. It originated in South Korea, and it's creamy, foamy, and sweet. The best thing about Dalgona is that it only requires five ingredients: instant coffee, sugar, ice cubes, milk, and hot water.

How Do You Make It?

All you have to do is combine the instant coffee, sugar, and hot water in a bowl or a pitcher, then use a hand mixer or whisk to combine. You know it's ready when it transforms into a caramel-colored frothy mixture. Once it's done, prepare a glass with ice cubes in it. Pour in your choice of milk, and use a spoon to scoop in the creamy coffee mixture. Voila, there you have it! A frothy, sweet, and creamy iced coffee is ready for your sunny afternoon. I recommend mixing the coffee with a spoon or straw before enjoying it.

Become Your Own Barista

Over the past few weeks, I have seen many people on social media sharing their experience making Dalgona coffee at home. Everyone seems to love how it turns out. I have to agree; I love it, too!

Why not impress your family with this new whipped coffee drink? You'll be amazed by how easy and delicious it is. And by the way, don't forget to share your experience on Instagram with the hashtag #dalgonacoffee.
