Ingredients
- 10 pineapple slices
For the batter:
- 1 cup water
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
For the cinnamon sugar topping:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix white sugar with cinnamon. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, add all of the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
- Dilute dry mix into the water. Set aside.
- Heat a generous amount of oil in a pot.
- Dip the pineapple slices into the batter one at a time. Fry until golden brown.
- Toss each fried battered pineapple slice into the bowl of the sugar and cinnamon. Mix to coat.
- The fritters are ready to serve!
